family

My FamilyMy family is one of the most precious blessings from God that makes me feel blessed. I can’t imagine my life without my family, there are so many things that I can live without but not my family. To keep my family close, I have to work on my relationships all the time. I believe that this is the best investment with a great return and to make it work properly I have to follow some basic rules. I would like to discuss the basics that I believe are important to help me in improving my relationships. All these rules are interrelated which means in other words one is not complete without the other.

Kids from my Family Communication:

I agree with the definition of communication and my theory is that without proper communication every relationship is in trouble. If we don’t communicate with the other party we end up losing that relationship temporarily or permanently. I think we should share our happiness and grief with our loved ones, to help them understand us better. When we don’t communicate our relationships end up like broken links on the net, which can be very frustrating for everyone.

Mutual Respect:

My Family
Mutual respect plays a very important role in everyrelationship and I believe that no relationship can survive without it. To respect someone means that you have to value and consider their views, opinions and needs when you make decisions and keep a balance or reach to a compromise. A relationship cannot be a one Way Street it has to work both ways. If one party is trying to make a relationship work and other party is not trying as hard chances are it is not going to work.

Keeping my Priorities Straight:

Keeping our priorities straight is a very essential rule which can make or break our relationships easily. If we understand and discuss our priorities with our loved ones it is much easier for us to organize ourselves and handle the situations before they get out of control. Sometimes we get lost because of lack of communication which confusing and stressful for everyone.

My FamilyKeeping my Commitments:

Although all of us learn most of our values and ways of life from our parents, but this rule specifically I learned from my father. He engraved this one into my minds since I was very young to keep my word and finish the job properly according to my best abilities if I take a responsibility. That’s one thing that if my son learns from me I will be a very proud parent. I believe that when we break a promise or don’t fulfill our responsibilities it hurts our loved ones and creates restlessness and sometimes costs us our relationships.
