Style Manual

This site was created for my ENG 123 class. Its purpose is to show who I am and what my interests are.

The audience is the class and anyone who would like more information on me, Christmas, or Barbie collecting.

I used a winter theme with candles throughout my web site.  The candles are used as guides from place to place based on a story I was told as a child.  During the winter, people used to place candles in the windows to guide traveling family and friends to their home.  The travelers could look for the candlelight and know where they needed to head.  I always found that a very inviting tradition, and since one of my free choice areas is on Christmas, I thought it would be fitting.

I used the Calisto MT font throughout the site. Titles are 24 point and bold.  Body text is 12 point. Links are also Calisto MT and 14 point. I used default blue for the links since there is blue through out the site. Active links are green, and visited links are red to go along with the Christmas theme.
